WHO WE ARE
Incite Agency for Change is a social enterprise inspiring hope, encouraging individual and collective action, and creating change for healthy communities where all people can thrive. As co-founders, Michelle Bangen & Charlette Lumby, we bring a combined three decades of experience in injury and violence prevention and health promotion. Emerging from vastly different professional backgrounds, we are well-versed in a wide-range of nursing and public health topics. Whether you are an individual seeking education and skills training, or you are envisioning a multi-year plan for workforce training, or anything in-between, we can help! Keep reading for more info about us, our services, and to learn about how we can support you, your community, or your agency. We are excited to connect and build capacity for prevention to positively impact systems, structures, and as many lives as possible for the health and wellbeing of our communities. Together we can inspire action and incite change!
We are skilled at capacity building, grant writing, curriculum development, program evaluation, and more!
This was the best training I've been to in years. I feel much more confident helping someone who is struggling with suicidal thoughts after learning this model.

COVID-19 has had a profound impact on us all. It has undoubtably created challenges, especially in delivering in-person trainings at a time when our work feels more important than ever. As we all attempt to plan for the future, there are many questions and variables that impact service provision on all of our parts.
At Incite Agency for Change, we will be closely monitoring the ever-changing requirements and recommendations from the Oregon Health Authority, the Governor's office, and local health departments as the pandemic evolves. For all in-person events, we will be implementing extensive measures to limit the potential for spreading the virus.
We know this requires us to be nimble, and we appreciate our partners' flexibility as we figure out how best to support you.
